SNACK CART – Available to grade 7 students during morning break (everyday) in the grade 7 wing. Cost is $1 per item.
LIBRARY –**The library will be operational beginning Monday during both lunches. Any student who would like to make a book request, can do so, by listing the novel on the book request sheet found at the circulation desk. The first order will be placed at the end of September.
LIBRARY REMINDER – Students are reminded that the library is a place to come and work quietly. Students are asked to be respectful of the space and to be mindful of their surroundings, as well as, the students who are working. Students who cannot follow these rules may be asked to leave. Please note the date of your borrowed items and do you best to return your books during the date noted. Inquiries or questions regarding library books or other library issues can be directed to Mrs. Broussard in room 906 (9F in the grade nine hallway). – Thank-you!
STUDENT FEES – Students fees are now due. We ask the students try to bring the correct change as we have a limited amount of money in the office on a regular basis. Grade 7 & 8 student fee is $20.00 or $30.00. Grade 9 student fee is $30.00 or $40.00 for a family.
DJ CLUB – Anyone interested in joining DJ club at lunch time please see Mr. MaCallum. Duties would include playing music, reading school updates, sports and music info., etc. on the stage in the cafeteria.
CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING – After school on Monday 3:15 – 4:15pm. Everyone welcome.
GOLF CLUB – Boys wishing to play golf for EWS are asked to have their permission forms signed and returned to Mr. Casey in room 704 by next Tuesday. Golfers need to have their own clubs and equipment and must have experience playing golf, knowledge of the rules and awareness of golf course etiquette. The dates for practice rounds and tournaments are unknown at this time.
INTRAMURALS – Outdoor Equipment sign-out.
GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY – Tryouts continue today, 3:30-5:15 pm here at EWS field. Sticks will be provided, shin guards are recommended, and each player must have their own bottle of water. Any girl in Grade 7, 8, or 9 is invited to attend. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Sanderson.
BOYS VOLLEYBALL – Tryouts will continue after school on Monday until 4:30pm. Permission slips are required.
CAFETERIA – Baked Chicken Quesadilla served with side of Rice $5.25
