 The Band Magazine campaign fundraiser will begin this week on Thursday. ALL BAND STUDENTS WILL BE ABSENT FROM CLASS DURING LAST PERIOD THURSDAY, DAY 2, to attend the start up rally.

 SNACK CART – Available to grade 7 students during morning break (everyday) in the grade 7 wing. Cost is $1 per item.

 LIBRARY –**The library will be operational beginning today during both lunches. Any student who would like to make a book request, can do so, by listing the novel on the book request sheet found at the circulation desk. The first order will be placed at the end of September.

LIBRARY REMINDER – Students are reminded that the library is a place to come and work quietly. Students are asked to be respectful of the space and to be mindful of their surroundings, as well as, the students who are working. Students who cannot follow these rules may be asked to leave. Please note the date of your borrowed items and do you best to return your books during the date noted. Inquiries or questions regarding library books or other library issues can be directed to Mrs. Broussard in room 906 (9F in the grade nine hallway). – Thank-you!

 BAND PRACTICES – ALL MORNING BAND PRACTICES will begin this week starting TOMORROW MORNING AT 7:50 AM with grade 7 band, Thurs morning for the 8’s and Friday morning for the 9’s.  

 News on Jazz Band rehearsal time is coming before the end of the week.

 STUDENT FEES – Students fees are now due. We ask the students try to bring the correct change as we have a limited amount of money in the office on a regular basis. Grade 7 & 8 student fee is $20.00 or $30.00 family . Grade 9 student fee is $30.00 or $40.00 for a family.

 HOCKEY ACADEMY – There will be a short meeting in Mr. Cusack’s room during period 7 for all Grade 8/9 members of the Hockey Academy.

 CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING – Today 3:15 – 4:15pm. All welcome to attend. Please remember to bring in signed permission form to practice.

DUKE OF EDINBURGH – Reminder to hand permission forms in for Wednesday’s activity.

INTRAMURALS: Outdoor Equipment sign-out.

GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY: No tryout today. The final tryout is tomorrow (Wednesday), 3:30-5:15 pm.

Boy’s Volleyball – 3:15 – 4:45

Girls Field Hockey – 3:15 – 5:00 – EWS 

GOLF CLUBAny students wishing to play golf for EWS are asked to have their permission forms signed and returned to Mr. Casey in room 704 by   Tuesday.  Golfers need to have their own clubs and equipment and must have experience playing golf, knowledge of the rules and awareness of golf course etiquette.  The dates for practice rounds and tournaments are unknown at this time.

YEARBOOK – The yearbook committee is open to Grade nine students only. If you wish to join the committee please pick up an application in the main office.  The deadline for returning the completed application is Monday September 19. Late applications will not be accepted as being part of the yearbook committee involves meeting strict deadlines.

CAFETERIA – Sweet and Sour Meatballs served over noodles with stir-fried vegetables $5.25
