BAKE SALE – There will be a bake sale on Friday, September 30th during both lunches to support the Girls RC United U14 Soccer team travelling to Nationals next week. All items $1.00.
EAST WILTSHIRE DRIVE AWAY HUNGER – A reminder to classes that prizes will be given to the top classes in each grade who bring in food donations. Keep up the good work and help EWS Drive Away Hunger.

HOCKEY ACADEMY – Tomorrow for grades 8 & 9 students. Students will go to the APM centre when they are called down at 1:45pm. Students are reminded to get any work they missed from their teachers. Arrange for pickup at the APM centre at 4:00pm.
HOCKEY POOL – Early bird prize for top seller will be determined on Friday. Another prize will be determined on October 12th for overall top seller.
BAND STUDENTS, please bring your paper subscriptions to the industrial arts lab today at lunch today. If you want emoji’s for subscriptions sold on line, and to see your total sales on line, go to Mr. Nabuurs office at lunch. Please make sure envelopes are secure in your locker until lunch today.
JAZZ BAND will have its first practice tomorrow at lunch. Students will be missing 1 lunch time class. They should speak to THAT teacher before 3rd period tomorrow to let them know and to see what work you will be missing. Mr. Nabuurs will send an email tomorrow at lunch informing teachers who will be absent.
LEADERSHIP & PEERHELPERS – Will be absent from classes on Thursday to participate in a leadership/training day.
THE ZONE 3 GOLF QUALIFIER had to be changed due to a conflict at the course, therefore, it will now be on Thursday instead of Wednesday – same times at Countryview.
CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING – There will be a brief meeting for all Cross Country runners the beginning of 6th period in the cafeteria. Any students participating in fall sports who would like to run in the unit meet next Tuesday please attend the meeting.

FIELD HOCKEY: Game today in Montague at 4:30 pm at the high school field. Players are asked to please dismiss at 2:30 and be prepared in the lobby for drives leaving at 2:45 pm.
THE HOLLAND COLLEGE HURRICANES DANCE TEAM would like you to “Save the Date” for their first ever Junior & Senior High School Dance Competition. Please relay to your students that have an interest in dance – Saturday, December 3rd – There will be an open competition for school-based teams to perform & compete in front of their parents & peers.
CAFETERIA – Sweet & sour meatballs served over a bed of noodles with stir fried vegetables $5.25 Students are asked to line up in single file, and have the correct change. Specials are posted on the announcements so please review and have an idea of what you would like to order. This will make for a more efficient lunch hour. SPEED SKATING & LEARN TO SKATE REGISTRATION – Build on-ice confidence and life-long skating skills that can be used for everyday skating, speed skating and all ice sports. Speed Skate PEI is accepting registrations in its Learn to Skate, Learn to Speed Skate, competitive and recreational speed skating programs at www.speedskatepei.ca.
