CAUGHT YOU CARING – Reminder that our CAUGHT YOU CARING CAMPAIGN will be starting up again this year. Any student caught performing a kind act to another will have their name put in our Caught You Caring Jar in the office for a chance to win a prize. Prizes will be drawn every Friday (first draw will be October 7th).
ROBOTICS CLUB – Any student wanting to help out on building a full scale, screen accurate, remote controlled R2D2 is asked to sign up on the sheet on the billboard outside the cafeteria. This project will happen after school and will start the week after Thanksgiving. Any questions, see Mr. Casey in room 704.
EWS GOLF – Mrs. Campbell and Mr. Casey would like to honour Hayden Ford and Taylynn Hood for representing our school with class and grace yesterday at Avondale Golf Course. A huge congratulations also goes out to Taylynn, a grade 9 student here at EWS, who won the Individual Junior High Provincial Golf Championship with a total score of 52. Warriors – Our first gold medal of the year! Keep ’em coming!
INTRAMURALS: There are no Dodgeball Derby games scheduled for today. Intramurals will be Outdoor Equipment sign-out.
FIELD HOCKEY: On Tuesday, the girls defeated Montague 1-0 in a hard fought game. Sophie Flynn scored the goal. Maddison Thompson had an excellent game in net, earning her 5th shutout of the season. Midfielders Sarah Peters and Sarah MacEachern both had strong games to help earn the win. The team practices today at EWS 3:30 to 5:15 pm.
