Tickets to the rock paper scissors event will be passed out during lunch times on Friday by Mr. Nabuurs. Only band students who sold enough subscriptions during the magazine campaign will be given a ticket and only ticket holders may attend. The event takes place starting at 2:00 PM this Friday afternoon. Ipad Mini’s, Beat’s headsets, and huge cash prizes of $200, $150, $75 and $50 up for grabs. Good luck!!

HOME AND SCHOOL MEETING – TONIGHT @ 7:00pm in the Library. The Director of Public Schools Mr. Parker Grimmer will be attending the meeting. Everyone welcome.
FRENCH IMMERSION STUDENTS – There will be a parent information session held this Thursday at 7pm in the library for those interested in the French Club trip this year. Attendance would be greatly appreciated, if interested.

BAKE SALE – PEERHELPERS ARE HAVING A BAKE SALE ON THURSDAY DURING BOTH LUNCHES. EVERYTHING IS $1.00 AND ALL PROCEEDS TO FREE THE CHILDREN – AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION TO HELP CHILDREN IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES.
DANCE THIS THURSDAY – FALLOWEEN IS THE THEME – NO COSTUMES PLEASE BUT EVERYONE IS ENCOURAGED TO DRESS IN FALL THEME – DOORS WILL OPEN AT 7:00PM AND THE COST IS $5.00. NO BUS PASSES WILL BE ISSUED ON DANCE DAY.
GRADE 7 SNACK CART – Please be advised that the snack cart is not able to provide change for any bills larger than $5.00. Thank you for your co-operation.
ATTENTION GRADE 9 STUDENTS – “Take your Child to Work Day” – Will take place on Wednesday, November 2nd. Permission forms will be going home today. Please return them to your health teacher as soon as possible.

SCIENCE FAIR CLUB – Any students interested in taking part in a science fair club can sign up next to Mme. Deveau’s homeroom (7B). The club will meet mostly after school. The main goal of this club is to help guide students through a science project in preparation for the provincial science fair.
DUKE OF EDINBURGH – Students please return any safety equipment, parts and tools to Mr. Galaise.
HOCKEY ACADEMY- -Today the Gr 8/9 members go to APM at 1:45 pm. Please ensure that you have checked in with teachers if you are going to miss class time.
–Thursday’s session for the Gr.7 members at Synergy Fitness has been rescheduled to later in November due to the Pep Rally.
INTRAMURALS: Today will be free-play Volleyball. Sign-ups begin today for Halloween Spooktacular that will take place next week and on Halloween day. Get a partner and sign-up in the gym.

FIELD HOCKEY: Lost 2-0 to Stonepark yesterday. Despite the loss, the girls finish the regular season in first place and now prepare for their playoff match on Tuesday, October 25th. Practice today at the turf, 3:35-5:00 pm. Players, please be excused at 2:55 pm and take Bus #171 at dismissal.
ELIOT RIVER SCREAM PARK: Will take place Tuesday, October 25th (raindate: Wednesday, October 26th). Kids session is 5:30-7:00 pm and the Scary Session is 7:30-9:00 pm.
