 CHRISTMAS DINNER IN THE CAFETERIA WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 14TH $6.25

 CHILL…It’s not THAT formal – Mark the date for this Wednesday, December 14th @ 7:00pm – $5.00 (if you bring in a non-perishable food item receive $1.00 off admission).  Not formal dress but wear a Christmas outfit.

NO BUS PASSES ON DANCE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

DESTINATION IMAGINATION – Will have a photo booth at the Christmas dance, charge is $1.00 and all proceeds will go the Mikinduri Children’s fund.

 DESTINATION IMAGINATION BAKE SALE – This Friday December 16th at both lunches, everything is 50 cents to $1.50.  Proceeds to the Mikinduri Children’s Fund.

 Cookie Dough will be delivered this Wednesday. Band students will be expected to take it home with them at dismissal that day UNLESS the box is too heavy to carry. In that case your parents will be expected to come to the school to pick it up BEFORE 5:30 PM that day. Please remind your parents.

 Band Practices for this week will be as follows: 

Jazz Band will have practice TUESDAY at lunch (due to cookie dough delivery)

Grade 7 Band Wednesday morning at 7:50 AM

NO PRACTICE THURSDAY MORNING

FRIDAY WILL BE DETERMINED LATER IN THE WEEK.

 MENTORSHIP GROUP – Reminder of mentorship Thursday morning with Eliot River School.

 Wrestling – Tonight 3:15 – 4:30pm.

 COMPASSION IT will be having a meeting after school to prepare for their visit to Prince Edward Home and Burnside Community Center next Wednesday, Dec 21st from 9:30-11:30.  Students and teachers interested are asked to go to Mrs. Cusack’s room after school today to create Christmas Cards for the residents.  The meeting will go from 3:15 – 4:15 today.

WRITING CLUB – Will be meeting at 11:45 in Ms. Bell’s room.

 R2D2 CLUB – There will be R2 club Tuesday and Wednesday afterschool this week but only for 5 people each day.  Come see Mr. Casey to reserve your spot this week.  There is not enough small work for everyone so Mr. Casey is breaking up the large group into smaller groups.

STUDENT VS. STAFF HOCKEY GAME – Any students in Gr.7, 8, or 9 interested in playing in the student vs. staff hockey game before the Christmas break should sign up outside Mr. Cusack’s room before December 15th

 INTRAMURALS: Last day for Omnikin Volleyball – schedule is posted. A reminder that students must be changed to participate and substitute players are not allowed.
