MONDAY, MARCH 6TH, 2017 DAY 1

THANK YOU TO HAYLEY CARDIFF FOR HER ACT OF KINDNESS TODAY IN BRINGING TREATS FOR THE STAFF

LOST AND FOUND ITEMS – PLEASE CHECK THE TABLE IN THE MAIN LOBBY DURING PARENT/TEACHER INTERVIEWS FOR ANY ITEMS STUDENTS MAY HAVE LOST.

REMINDER TO ALL CLASSES – PLEASE CLEAN OUT LOCKERS BEFORE MARCH BREAK!!!!!!!

 SCHOOL FUNDRAISER FOR JUVENILE ARTHRITIS – On Wednesday THIS  week wear BLUE and bring in $1.00 to help spread awareness around Juvenile Arthritis. 

 PEERHELPING – Reminder of our Peerhelping party 3:30pm – 5:30pm Tuesday.

YOGA – 3:15 – 4:15PM Tuesday.  Everyone welcome.

 Grade 7 Band practice is on THURSDAY morning this week at 7:50 AM

 Jazz Band will rehearse during lunch on Thursday this week

 There is NO band practice tomorrow OR Wednesday mornings this week due to PEI Band Days

 Reminder to teachers of grade 8 and 9 band students that grade 8 band will be absent from classes on Wednesday morning.  They will be back to eat lunch during period 5 on Wednesday and attend classes period 6 and 7.  Grade 9 band will be in class periods 1, 2 & 3 and go to lunch period 4. They will be absent from classes periods 5, 6 and 7.

 Reminder to grade 8 band students to check the band web page before leaving home on Wednesday morning for possible schedule changes at band days due to weather.

 MME ST-COEUR IS OFFERING TUTORING SESSIONS for any subjects taught in French every WEDNESDAY after school until 4:00 in Room 907.Everyone is welcome!

WRESTLING – Today, Tuesday and Thursday after school until 4:30pm.  There will also be sessions in gym on Tuesday and Thursday morning 7:30 – 8:30am.

DESTINATION IMAGINATION – Everyday this week after school.

STUDENT COUNCIL MEETING – Tomorrow 3rd period in Mr. Cusack’s Room.

NO SKI CLUB DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS

THE EWS GREEN TEAM –  Each class will be given 2 blue bags.  Collection will be the 14th of March so bring in as many refundables as you can.  The class that brings in the most refundables wins a pizza party.  Please no milk,milk substitutes or alcohol containers permitted.

Recyclables would include used electronics, cell phones etc.  There will be a container in the office for recyclables. Recyclables are not part of the class total for a pizza party.

INTRAMURALS: Tug-O-War begins today. Schedule is posted in the lobby.

BADMINTON TRYOUTS – Will continue this week Today, Tuesday, and Wednesday after school 3:20- 4:45.

BASKETBALL – The following players have not returned their uniforms as of Monday morning – please return them as soon as possible:

A Boys:  Brady Rodd, Brandon Proude, Matthew Calder and Matt Mills

A Girls: Ashlyn Carpenter

AA Boys: Isaac Murray, Jude Rist, Nick Mills,  and Joseph Bertram.

RED MUDD SPRING VOLLEYBALL CLUB will start practicing this week.

Thursday, March 9 4:30-5:30 at East Wiltshire, all are welcome.
