THURSDAY, MARCH 9TH, 2017 DAY 4

TEACHERS – ARM BANDS FOR OUR EMERGENCY KITS HAVE ARRIVED AND WILL BE IN YOUR MAILBOX – PLEASE HAVE IN YOUR EMERGENCY KIT.

HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION FOR GRADE 9 STUDENTS IS APRIL 6TH – THIS IS A REGULAR SCHOOL DAY FOR OUR GRADE 9 STUDENTS AND THERE WILL BE CLASSES FOR ALL GRADE 9 STUDENTS.

LOST AND FOUND ITEMS – PLEASE CHECK THE TABLE IN THE MAIN LOBBY DURING PARENT/TEACHER INTERVIEWS FOR ANY ITEMS STUDENTS MAY HAVE LOST.

REMINDER TO ALL CLASSES – PLEASE CLEAN OUT LOCKERS BEFORE MARCH BREAK!!!!!!!

 CORNWALL & AREA YOUTH CENTRE – Information table for the Cornwall & Area Youth Centre and Youth Advisory Committee  will be set up in the lobby at parent teacher interviews tonight, and the Parent Information Session is to be held Wednesday, March 15th, 6PM in the school cafeteria.

 MME ST-COEUR IS OFFERING TUTORING SESSIONS  for any subjects taught in French.  The next session will be next Wednesday after school until 4:00 in Room 907. Everyone is welcome!

WRESTLING –TODAY after school until 4:30pm.

DESTINATION IMAGINATION – Everyday this week after school.

THE EWS GREEN TEAM –  Each class will be given 2 blue bags.  Collection will be the 14th of March so bring in as many refundables as you can.  The class that brings in the most refundables wins a pizza party.  Please no milk,milk substitutes or alcohol containers permitted.

Recyclables would include used electronics, cell phones etc.  There will be a container in the office for recyclables. Recyclables are not part of the class total for a pizza party.

ATHLETICS

Thanks to the basketball players for getting their jerseys back in a timely manner.

I would also like to thank the Basketball coaches for putting in a lot of their time to coach and teach our student athletes.

INTRAMURALS: Tug-O-War continues today – schedules are posted in the lobby and gym.

BADMINTON TRYOUTS – No badminton after school today.  Next practice will be on Monday 3:20- 4:45.

Holland Hurricanes are hosting a basketball clinic in conjunction with their hosting of the CCAA Men’s Basketball Championships being held at Holland College March 15th – 18th.

What: Basketball Clinic organized by PEI’s George Morrison with help by CCAA Men’s Basketball All-Canadian’s and Coach of Year nominees

When: Wednesday March 15th 4:00pm – 5:30pm

Where: Holland College Centre for Community Engagement 323 Grafton St. Charlottetown

Who: 30 spots available for U12 groups, another 30 spots available for Junior High Groups

FYI* Parents are welcome watch the clinic and enjoy the experience.

RED MUDD SPRING VOLLEYBALL CLUB will start practicing this week.

Thursday, March 9 4:30-5:30 at East Wiltshire, all are welcome.
