DRUG AWARENESS PRESENTATIONS – CORPORAL Andy Cook from the R.C.M.P. will be at E.W.S., today for Drug Awareness Presentation in the cafeteria to our grade 9 classes.
COMPASSION IT is challenging all homeroom classes to bring in any spare change they may have to help support the PEI Humane Society. The challenge ends on Friday, April 21st. The homeroom that raises the most money will win a double lunch! Best of luck to all participating classes.

COMPUTER SCIENCE CAMP – There will be a free computer science camp offered by UPEI Computer Science students from 5:00 to 7:00pm during the week of April 24th – April 28th. This free camp will take place on the UPEI Campus. If you wish to register please pick up an information pamphlet from Ms. Deveau before Friday, April 21st.
EWS HOCKEY ACADEMY – Any student interested in applying for the EWS Hockey Academy for next year can get an application from the main office. They should be returned to the office before May 12th.
WRESTLING – All wrestlers are asked to stay in the cafeteria and have your snack before boarding the bus to Provincials at 3:45pm. PLEASE ARRANGE FOR YOUR PICKUP IN MONTAGUE AFTER THE EVENT.

Boy’s flag football tryouts: Next Thursday from 4:00 – 5:30.
TRACK & FIELD: Tryouts will begin Monday, April 24th for the school track and field team at Bluefield High School from 3:30-4:30. Students will take a bus at dismissal from EWS and must arrange their own drive to pick them up at Bluefield. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Sanderson.
GIRLS SOFTBALL: First tryout will take place Monday 4:15-5:15 pm. It will be outdoors so dress accordingly.

RISE AND CLIMB ADVENTURE COURSE
Rise and Climb will be offering Laser Tag Club for after school students. Four weeks of laser tag fun in the Laser Tag PEI woods just behind Rise and Climb Adventure Course. Each session lasts 1.5 hours starting at 3 and ending at 4:30 pm. Each session will focus on technical skills, strategy but mostly just active play in the wooded course. We’ll play different games each week including last man standing, capture the flag, assassins, aliens, evacuation, etc.
Dates:Fridays for Grades 4-6, May 26 – June 16
Thursdays for Grades 7-9, May 25 – June 15
