SEMI DANCE , Thursday, June 8th –  THIS IS THE  GRADE 9 SEMI – grade eight students can attend but are not allowed to bring a date (either from grade 7 or outside).  Students from outside and grade 7’s can only attend as a date of a grade 9 student. The grade 7 students and any outside students must leave by 8:00pm. THE OFFICE MUST FIRST BE NOTIFIED AND THE SIGN IN SHEET FOR THE DANCE(IN THE OFFICE) MUST BE FILLED OUT FOR ANY OUTSIDE STUDENTS ATTENDING PRIOR TO THE SEMI 

CONGRATULATIONS to Sam MacKinnon (Mrs. Mutch) for winning the April Youth Centre prize. We hope you’ll enjoy your party pizza.  Don’t forget that every sign in to the Youth drop in is an entry for May’s prize.

COMPASSION IT MEETING – After school today.  All members please attend as many hands will make light work.

STUDENT COUNCILSummer, Floral, Tropical Theme Day – Friday, May 19th – $1.00 to participate.  All proceeds towards semi decorations.

 DENTAL CLINIC – The yellow forms can be returned either directly to the clinic in room 217(if locked slip under the door) or send to the main office.  Please be sure to return the form with a yes or no indicated.

EWS HOCKEY ACADEMY – Any student interested in applying for the EWS Hockey Academy for next year can get an application from the main office.  They should be returned to the office before May 12th.

BOY’S BASEBALL PRACTICE Today – Weather permitting3:15 – 4:30pm.

On Monday, The A girls flag football lost to Queen Charlotte 26-14.  Sophia Vickerson and Sarah Peters scored all the points for the girls.  In the second game, and all that experience from the first game, the Warriors defeated Stonepark 44-6.  Sophia Vickerson scored 18 points and Ashlyn Carpenter scored 13 in that game.  Our defense played extremely solid, keeping Stonepark to 6 points.

Last night the AA Boy’s flag football team started the season with two wins. In the first game EWS defeated Montague 7-6.  Joe MacEachern had the lone touchdown.  In the second game, the Warriors defeated Stonepark 13 – 0.  Jonah Kiezer and Dominic Green had the touchdowns.  Isaac Murray had a strong game at Quarterback

Tonight’s Flag Football games:

3:40 – A Boys play Stonepark

4:30 – A boys play Francois Buote

Boys will leave class at 2:55 with teacher’s permission and take bus 171.  Don’t wait for the bus to come in and get you, you have to be out in the parking lot or you will miss it!

INTRAMURALS: Soccer Baseball games today. Schedule is posted.

A GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL: Practice today 3:15-4:30 pm in the gym.

EWS TRACK & FIELD: Practices for the running events will take place Thursday at Bluefield, 3:30-4:30 pm. Take Bus #153 at dismissal. The Zone 3 Meet is scheduled for Thursday, May 18th at UPEI.
