 PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB ON THE SOCCER NETS AT ANYTIME – THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE!!!

 REMINDER TO STUDENTS WHEN LEAVING SCHOOL PROPERTY –  THERE IS CONSTRUCTION AT THE CORNER – PLEASE STAY ON THE SIDEWALKS AND PAY ATTENTION TO THE FLAG PERSON.

 SEMI DANCE , Thursday, June 8th –  This is the GRADE 9 SEMI (grade 8 students may attend).  Grade 7’s attending with grade 9’s and people from outside the school are asked to leave at 8:00pm. JUST TO CLARIFY, GRADE 7’S CAN ONLY ATTEND THE SEMI WITH GRADE 9 STUDENTS.  GRADE 9 STUDENTS CAN BRING SOMEONE FROM OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL – THESE STUDENTS MUST BE SIGNED IN ON THE LIST AT THE OFFICE PRIOR TO SEMI.  Pictures begin at 6:00 – 7:00pm (pictures will be outside weather permitting).  The dance starts at 7:00pm.

STUDENT COUNCILSummer, Floral, Tropical Theme DayFriday, May 19th – $1.00 to participate.  All proceeds towards semi decorations.

DENTAL CLINIC – The yellow forms can be returned either directly to the clinic in room 217(if locked slip under the door) or send to the main office.  Please be sure to return the form with a yes or no indicated.

SUMMER TUTOR FORMS – Anyone looking for summer tutor forms with The Council of People with Disabilities please contact Ms. Natalie MacKinnon @ nymackinnon@edu.pe.ca

A GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL: Practice today, 3:15-4:30 pm. Game on Tuesday versus Montague at 3:40 pm.

FIELD HOCKEY: UPEI will be hosting a Field Hockey Camp that begins Wednesday, May 24th at UPEI. Sessions will be every Wednesday and Sunday until August 6th. Cost is only $65. THE EWS BOY’S BASEBALL TEAM begins their season today at 4:30 with a game against Summerside Intermediate (at KISH #2 field). Players are asked to arrange their own transportation and be there for 4pm. Reminder to submit forms and fees to coaches asap.

Practice/Game schedule:

Results for yesterday’s track and field meet are posted on the bulletin board.  EWS had an amazing showing yesterday.  We have several students qualify for provincials.  Special note to Thomas Yeo who crushed the Provincial Record in shot put.  He beat the old record by 2.53 m!!

Friday:

3:40 – AA Girls football vs. Queen Charlotte @ Cornwall Turf

4:30 – AA Girls football vs. Stonepark @ Cornwall Turf

4:30 – Boys Baseball vs. Summerside Intermediate @ Kensington Field #2

The girl’s will take bus 171 and leave class at 2:55 to get ready.
