SEMI DANCE , Thursday, June 8th – This is the GRADE 9 SEMI (grade 8 students may attend). Grade 7’s attending with grade 9’s and people from outside the school are asked to leave at 8:00pm. JUST TO CLARIFY, GRADE 7’S CAN ONLY ATTEND THE SEMI WITH GRADE 9 STUDENTS. GRADE 9 STUDENTS CAN BRING SOMEONE FROM OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL – THESE STUDENTS MUST BE SIGNED IN ON THE LIST AT THE OFFICE PRIOR TO SEMI. Pictures begin at 6:00 – 7:00pm (pictures will be outside weather permitting). The dance starts at 7:00pm.

A reminder that Athletic Fees are officially overdue. Flag football, softball, and baseball are all $10.00 track and field is $5.00. These charges cover officials only for team sports and bussing to UPEI for the track and field team.
Congratulations to the AA Girls Flag Football team who won both games on Friday. Great play by defense allowing only two touch downs in both games. Way to go Cassie Lank you called an excellent game with the unrelenting wind. Touch Downs were scored by Louissa MacMurrer, Anna MacAleer, MacKayla Vos, and Claire Pickens.
THE BOYS BASEBALL team split their games on the weekend. On Friday evening, SIS defeated EWS 9-8 in extra innings. Kayden MacLeod pitched 5 strong innings and homered along with Josh Smith.
On Saturday the boys trailed 2-0 early in the game before scoring one in the fifth and two in the sixth to beat Queen Charlotte 3-2. Jackson Sherren tossed the win. Top batters were Nathan Mahar ,Kayden MacLeod and Josh Smith. Next practice will be Wednesday from 3:15-4:30.
FIELD HOCKEY: UPEI will be hosting a Field Hockey Camp that begins tomorrow (Wednesday, May 24th) at UPEI. Sessions will be every Wednesday and Sunday until August 6th. Cost is only $65.
