 Teachers – Reminder there are grade level meetings after school today.

 Students – Reminder to please have your student fees and student information forms into your homeroom teacher as soon as possible. 

 Yearbook: The applications for yearbook committee are due today. All applications are to be returned to Ms. Tremere-Phelan. The yearbook committee is made up of grade 9 students.

 Duke of Edinburgh – Practice journey for the bike trip, will be held on Tuesday, September 18th @ 5:30pm – 7:00pm.  Meet in Milton at the bridge parking area with your bikes.  Students should see Mr. Galaise on Monday to sign up.  Teachers are welcome to attend, please let Mr. Galaise know if you plan to attend.

 Wrestling/Boxing Club – The club will start next week – check the announcements.

Cross Country Running today after school.

 ATHLETICS

** Students planning to try out for teams are reminded to have forms filled out and pass them in to coaches at the first practice.

 FIELD HOCKEY: Practice today, 3:30-5:00 pm at EWS field followed by a Parent Meeting in the school cafeteria. First game is tomorrow at the turf.

 INTRAMURALS: Outdoor free-play.

 Congratulations to Graysen LaPorte who was a member of the Capital District Islanders team who won gold at the Baseball Canada National Atlantic Championship on the weekend. The Islanders went 5-0 during the weekend and beat Fredericton 10-9 in 14 innings in the championship game. Graysen received the all-star pitcher award and top infielder award of the tournament. 

 Anyone wishing to participate in a 8 week support group for children of separated/divorced parents or guardians please see Mrs. Doyle-Hogan or Mr. Mitchell, school counsellors. It will take place on Wednesdays during 7th period, beginning September 26th.

 RODD’S TAEKWONDO

Your child can build their confidence while having fun learning a martial art from qualified black belt instructors. Start the school year with our $100 Introductory special which includes the first month of instruction and a Taekwondo uniform. Beginner classes are on Tuesday and Thursday nights 7:45-8:45 (teens and adults).
