 DANCE TONIGHT – Cost is $5.00 and doors open at 7:00pm.  Students are to be picked no later than 10:00pm.  THERE ARE NO BUS PASSES ON DANCE DAY.

Triple P is a parenting program that helps raising children and teenagers a little easier. It provides parents with simple tips to help manage the big and small problems of family life.  Triple P can help you deal with issues such as disobedience, aggression, emotions, and conflict. Plus, TRiple P is one of the few parenting programs in the world with evidence to show it works for most families!   Sasha O’Hanley and Amanda Petrie from the Student Well-Being Team are offering Triple P   (Positive Parenting Program) for parents and caregivers in April and May. The discussion group will be limited to 15 parents/caregivers, and the registration is free. You can register for one or all of the sessions, and they are as follows:

    Wednesday, April 24–6-8pm: Getting Teenagers to Cooperate

    Wednesday, May 1–6-8pm:  Coping with Teenagers’ Emotions

    Wednesday, May 8–6-8pm: Building Teenagers’ Survival Skills

    Wednesday, May 15–6-8pm: Reducing Family Conflict  

Parents are asked to email Sasha at samohanley@edu.pe.ca or call 902-675-7480 Ext 230 (Bluefield High School) to register. The sessions will run for 4 weeks and will be from 6-8pm at East Wiltshire Junior High in the learning center. There are no child care services provided for this program.

 WRESTLING Wednesday.

 HOCKEY ACADEMY- Any students interested in applying for the hockey academy for next year that did not get an application package yet can get one from the main office.  Deadline to apply is May 10th. 

You did not have to be in the hockey academy this year in order to apply for next year.  Everyone is welcome!

 GRADE 7 EXTRA MATH HELP will be offered after school on Wednesdays from 3:10-3:45 to any students in 7A,7F or 7G who wish to attend. Please see Mr.Rogerson if you have any concerns.
