 Junior Basketball Development Program:

 There is a poster on the bulletin board with information regarding this basketball program being put on by UPEI.  The program runs from Dec. 29 – March 31. 

The poster has some updates… It now includes students currently in grades 5-9 (poster reads 6-8), It also includes girls (the poster only reads boys). If you may be interested, please contact Mr. MacAdam for a registration sheet.

BLUEFIELD BASKETBALL CAMP – Senior Men’s Basketball from Bluefield  will be hosting a basketball camp for any students that are interested.  This two day camp will take place on December 27th-28th from 12:00 – 2:00pm.  The cost will be $3.00 per student or $5.00 for a family.  Information and sign-up sheet is posted outside phys-ed on bulletin board.

Every morning before announcements, we will broadcast one Christmas themed trivia question that your class will have to answer collectively, and their overall answer should be recorded by your homeroom teacher. At the end of the 12 days, we will collect all answers and tally up the responses.  The prize for the winning class will be a double lunch, authorized by Mr. Wight.

 “Light Up The Night” Christmas Dance TONIGHT from 7-10pm.  Cost is $5.00 – $1.00 off if you bring a non-perishable food item.  Light up accessories and white clothing for black light, but glowsticks will not be permitted at the dance.  NO BUS PASSES ON DANCE DAY.

  • Christmas Collection ChristMitts – December 1st – December 17th we will be collecting mittens,toques, scarves and socks to donate to the Upper Room Soup Kitchen. Please be generous in your support and make sure to take tons of photos and remember to use the hastag EWSGivesBack.

 12 Days of Christmas Trivia! Every morning before announcements, we will broadcast one Christmas themed trivia question that your class will have to answer collectively, and their overall answer should be recorded by your homeroom teacher. At the end of the 12 days, we will collect all answers and tally up the responses.  The prize for the winning class will be a double lunch, authorized by Mr. Wight.

 “Light Up The Night” Christmas Dance. Thursday, December 14th from 7-10pm.  Light up accessories and white clothing for black light, but glowsticks will not be permitted at the dance.

 There will be a science fair club meeting today during second period in Mme. Deveau’s classroom. Please get teacher’s permission before attending.

 Student Vs. Staff Hockey Game:

Any students in the school interested in playing against the teachers in the Annual Student Vs. Staff Hockey Game should sign up outside of Mr. Cusack’s Room (908).  Students are chosen randomly from the list and have until December 15th to sign up. 

Any student that has previously played in the game will be ineligible to play so more people have the opportunity.
