OPERATION CHRISTMAS SHOEBOX – Boxes will be collected next Friday, November 16th.

FRENCH CLUB – Tickets are being sold by French club members for the basket in the office.  Tickets are 2$ each or 3/5$.

  Any club member that needs more tickets can see Mme. Duffy before or after school.

 **Library- Students are encouraged to drop by the library to take a look at the new books that just arrived. Lots of great titles such as: Paper Hearts, Amulet (books 1, 3, 8, and 9), Don Cherry’s Sports Heroes, Winter, Black Butler, and much more. If you are interested in making other recommendations, jot your book title on the sheet at the circulation desk, and the title will be added to the next order!

 DUKE OF EDINBURGH – Anyone who needs volunteer hours please see Mrs. MacKinnon ASAP.

 LEADERSHIP: Meeting last period today.

INTRAMURALS: Omnikin Volleyball games are scheduled.

 *** There are still a few fall athletes who have not paid their fees,or turned in uniforms – please see Mr. MacAdam to clear this up.

Grant, a non-practicing physician who has been recovering from opioid addiction since 2005, will be sharing his personal journey.

Kelsey and Kyle, young adults, will be sharing their personal journeys with addictions.

All parents and public are welcome to attend this informative session in hopes of providing insights into potential issues with addictions.

 REMEMBRANCE DAY ASSEMBLY TODAY 6TH PERIOD

 OPERATION CHRISTMAS SHOEBOX – Boxes will be collected next Wednesday, November 14th.

BOXING – No boxing this week.

WRESTLING – No wrestling this week.

DANCE CLUB

Mrs. Dixon and Mrs. McIntosh will be starting a new dance club program at EWS featuring hip hop and other popular dance styles. The club is open to all! If you love to dance, are looking to learn, perform, and meet new friends, then this is the club for you.

If you might be interested, there is a brief information meeting today (Wednesday) at the start of 5th period in Mrs. McIntosh’s Foods and Nutrition classroom (Room 105). See you there!”

NO HOCKEY ACADEMY THIS WEEK

INTRAMURALS: Today will be free-play badminton. Omnikin games will continue on Tuesday.

 REMEMBRANCE DAY ASSEMBLY TOMORROW 6TH PERIOD

 FRENCH CLUB STUDENTS SKYE FITZPATRICK, BETH WALSH & CLARA JACK ARE HAVING A BAKE SALE TOMORROW AT BOTH LUNCHES.  EVERYTHING WILL BE $1.50.

CADETS – Any cadets who are interested in participating in the Remembrance Day Assembly on Wednesday you can still signup on the sheet posted inside the main office.  There will be a meeting right after break in the cafeteria extension. Student Council Executive are also asked to attend.

SCIENCE FAIR – The first Science fair club meeting will take place TODAY during second period in Mme. Deveau’s room.  Please ask your teacher’s permission from the class you will miss before attending.

 * The Pep Rally will be held on Tuesday, November 6th, last class.  This is an opportunity to recognize the fall sports teams.  Players are reminded to take their jerseys in, if they haven’t already.  No jersey, you will look out of place wearing your regular clothes!

 The EWS Boys Volleyball team won the Bronze Medal at the Intermediate AA Provincial Championships in Summerside on Saturday….and…Coach Cathy Butler won the foul-shooting contest at half-time of the UPEI Womens Basketball game on Saturday nite!
