 Acrylic Painting after school on Wednesdays for the next 4 weeks. Please see Ms Butler or Ms Webster ASAP as space is limited. The cost of this activity is $10 for supplies. After school until 4:45.

HOCKEY ACADEMY – Grade 7 Hockey Academy will go bowling Friday @ 10:00am and return around 12:30pm.

Applications for Hockey Academy next year are due FRIDAY!  If you need an application please grab one from the main office.  This is open to all students, even if you were not in the academy this year.  Any questions see Mr. Cusack.

Track & Field Event Schedule will be posted on the bulletin board in the lobby.

 Congratulations to Hayden Ford and Torey MacDonald for winning the Intermediate Girl’s Badminton Championships on the weekend.  They came first in doubles and Hayden came first in singles.  In the Intermediate boys division, Aiden Pot and Frankie Woods came second in doubles and Aiden came 4th in singles.  They came second in the team championship.  In Bantam Boy’s, Chris MacDougall and Dominic Pineau came 3rd, and Chris came second.  The bantam boys team came in second in the province.  Well done badminton players!

** Badminton players are to turn in their jerseys as soon as possible as we use the same jerseys for Flag Football and Track and Field

The Town of Cornwall is very excited to be offering a minor softball program for the following divisions:

U10 Mites (Born: 2008/2009)

U8 (Born: 2010/2011)

Learn to Play (Born: 2012/2014)

  Westwood Community Flea Market – Vendors Wanted!

Westwood Primary in Cornwall is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a community Flea Market on Saturday May 5th, 2018 from 9am – 1pm at our school (80 Meadowbank Road).  Admission will be $2 a person (children under 12 are free).  We will also be hosting a BBQ and have other food items to purchase.  We are looking for vendors to sell either your used goods or commercial items.  Tables can be rented for $15 (or 2 for $25).  Vendor set up will be from 7:30am-9am on Saturday morning.  To book your table, please contact Terra Doucette (902) 368-6855.  For Westwood families, you can reserve your table using our school hot lunches program.  Tables must be booked by April 30th.  All proceeds from this event will go towards Westwood Primary initiatives.  Let your Spring cleaning commence!
